Exercise physiologists not only teach you how to move but they also investigate the biopsychosocial aspect of one’s health. This includes the three pillars of health, the biological, the psychological and social determinants of health.
During a lifestyle and behaviour change session an Exercise Physiologists will examine your physical health, your mental status as well as your social habits to help incorporate a holistic approach to achieving health.
Exercise is always prescribed and dietary analysis will be included where applicable. Certain health conditions require extra help and this is when we can help with motivational interviewing and coach you back into positive lifestyle behaviours.
